The Performing Nurse: Creative Spaces

I'll be honest with you, The Performing  Nurse resonates with me.
And, I did not make her headpiece.
The Performing Nurse is my friend L's one-woman comedy show about her service to the vocation of Nursing.
Midwifery was her area of expertise.
Now she is working with youth.
She once worked at the chalkface with me.
She's conjured up a series of character vignettes recapping all
sorts of frippery about workplace culture and the challenge of
managing in a complex setting.

I can see my way clear with it.
She is part of The Anywhere Festival, all over the place, including Brisbane and Sydney.
Try to get a ticket. It's non-profit.
Supporting the Arts.

 Tally-ho.
How's your workplace?
Anything you need to see the Nurse about?
She can examine you at The Anywhere Festival.

    1. Thank you dear Dr SSG, I thought of you when I wrote this. The Parramatta show is at the Brislington Nurses Museum. I will be there. There's plans afoot to redevelop the land and kybosh the museum. There's a petition on a Change.org if you or esteemed colleagues want to weigh in. Xxx

  2. Oh I will need to let my friend know about this! She's a nurse and some of the stories she has...would be nice for her to hear some funny stories from those with similar experiences to her! :) She's in Sydney too.

Hope your friend has a lot of success with her show!

  3. Now Flora, I have heard of this clever friend of yours, as you know. I await a more local venue to view her talents, as I think she may be someone who could be an unwitting role model for a certain young whippersnapper we both know. I'm looking forward to it! Mimi xxx

    1. Mimi! I know. I was really intrigued when I heard you say how much the whippersnapper is attracted to nursing, while she has such an array of Arts talent. Certainly a young comic in her, too.
