Pink Rose and MBFF

I'm up to  my usual.
No surprises here.
Fashioned up a huge organza and faille rose.
Big and blousy.
Pink tinted.
 
 
 
 

 I've drawn from the usual.
Spent and hoarded bouquets. Dye dispersions.
Roses.
One delicate pink one, that even in decline has its merits.
Someone tried to throw this flower in the chalkface's rubbish bin.
I had to salvage and record its loveliness.
Dyed lots of fabric.
Arranged in folds to create some shadowing form.




 I'll keep zhu -huing until I get it right.
Then mount it on its base or band.

 I'll keep you in the loop.
Meanwhile, Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival is approaching.
I haven't really got a clue, but think there'll be a Flora in the Brisbane Arcade's Accessories in Bloom parade.
It's in the lap of the stylists Gods (or Goddesses).
 Get excited.

    Oh love the fabric flower, so pretty and pink! And your dog is such a good sport modelling one of your lovely creations! Hope that you do have a piece in the runway parade, you make such beautiful pieces.

    Pink, pink and more pink. AND roses. What more could a girl ask? Is it just me or is one of your doggies looking down the lens like a real model?? Clever doggie ;-)
