Full-Scale Frippery: QLD French Bulldog Club Fun Day

If you've got no time for nonsense today; then
click away now.
You've been warned.

Frankly, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy involving Mr Fascinata in
full-scale frippery.
We now have a prize-winning French Bulldog.
Thanks to the French Bulldog Club of Queensland.

Today, the club held a social day for Frenchies and their owners.
And Freddy won 'Best Dressed'.
After a few red wines the night before Mr Fascinata decided, "Zorro".
It had to be.

Rule # 1 all dogs must remain on leads.
For the duration of the get-together.

We took a picnic brunch.

 The day was just lovely.
Promenading Best Dressed.
Here's the best dressed judging.
Freddo took it very seriously.

Waiting for the decision.
Playing a musical chairs type game except you had
to get a recalcitrant dog to sit.

Mr Fascinata also won the owner and Frenchie look-a-like competition, too.
I kid you not.
Hope you did something enjoyable today that made you laugh.

  5. So adorable, although have my hands full with my two dogs. What did you do with your poodle? Did he get to come- he is French after all. Laughed that Mr Fascinator won best dressed award. P.S. Love your blog. Recently was reconsidering mine- and then read a post of yours and was inspired to continue x

  6. Thanks for asking about my little poodle! Bear in mind that he is as happy as a clam, has a huge appetite and is still quite active it is hard to bring him out because he is blind and a bit anxious. He got left behind for a few hours. The Frenchies are quite boisterous and we also had a picnic, that I (of course) had to be in charge of!! You know these things - you are a mother! I had a visual of a picnic, the bull-dog, and a blind poodle that has to be held or tied up close to me and decided something had to go!
Keep blogging, if nothing else it's a really nice visual record of funny little things in your life that might go unnoticed. I like the medium! As long as it doesn't take up too much time, it's all good. I upload all photos at once from Picasa. It's very quick. I love all the photo records I've got.
Very funny re Mr Fascinata's involvement at dog big day out. Xx

  7. Too funny! It was so funny seeing him lie down in different positions. What a cool costume for him. Looks like a great day in the park.
