Chocolate:Transitioning

I made these fleurs a while back.
I made a Flora-one-of-a-Kind.
But, wasn't pleased with the result.
I shouted, 'Off with its head'. And, literally pulled the piece apart.
Here's the flowers with the old silver stamens.
And, now with red.

The flowers remind me of chocolate with their swirly petals.
No fear. I am off the nose-bag in this neck of the woods.
Off holidays, back at work.
Hunkered down during the week.
Transitioning.
Not en vacance.
I've no more time for dyeing stamens.
No time for cake-making.
No time for sitting around eating cakes.
Death by Chocolate.
Oh, just a sliver, thank you.

I'll show you when I transition the fleurs back to a Flora.
Any transitions your way?
How do you manage?

  1. Those are gorgeous, I like the added red in the middle, really makes them pop :) It's summer break here, but we're not going on holiday yet. My girls are driving me bonkers, haha. But, it's good to have them around more!! I hope you have a great weekend doll xx

  2. Those fleurs do indeed resemble chocolate. Scrumptious. Hope the transition back to the chalkface goes smoothly.

  4. Gosh I love the chocolatey brown of the flowers you've concocted. In my next life in a Victoria or old villa, I'm going to have a room with chocolate walls and that splash of red, can't wait - maybe it will be the library
