Green Tulle and Blue Crust

I fashioned up this vintage green style headpiece on the weekend.
I quite like it.
It's got a little beaded crust of turquoise blue beads and sequins
around its base and a hand-dyed tulle fleur.
It's featherweight and comfortable.

I made it in-between having a sip of Rose Champagne in the
late winter afternoon sun.

 With Mr Fascinata's boned-out-whole bird.
Some sort of feat in itself.
Filled with green olives, fresh crumbs and chorizo.

How's your Spring transition going?
We've had a cold trough here and an uptake in Westerly winds.
Back to Spring by the weekend.

  1. It's lovely. I like these two colours put together. Mmm...lovely food. I'd love to eat outside, but at the moment it's not the best weather for it. I think summer has left us now really. Love the fabric at the end, that is awesome. Would love a dress made of this, haha :)) Hope your week has started off well Xxx

  2. Isn't that fabric fascinating? Trust you to spot it! I just bought a remnant, it was the end of the roll. I might edge it and make a scarf. Xx
