Paris Floriste Inspired: Craft Fair

Those French florists really are something else.
The look different, they smell different.
If you could eat them, they'd taste different.
I'll never tire of them.

Looking for some colour and movement?
Don't forget the Embroiderers' Guild Christmas Craft Fair.
It'll be lovely.

Flora's corsages will be out in force.

 Get in early.
Buy a few gifts.

    1. Dainty, you would love the Guild members and their works, there's all sorts of history going on there. I'll take you there when you visit AUS. Xx

  3. I love the French florists too. From the very sophisticated ones in Paris to the completely over the top ones in the smaller French villlages. I saw one inside a general store in the Poitou-Charentes region, that took up more space than the groceries....lol! Love your corsages, and will do my best to pop my head in to the Craft Fair...thanks!

    1. Mimi, please say hello to me if you do, I think I am on the upper level. It's the loveliest old building. Even the flowers at the Monoprix are stunning in France. Xx

  4. That is true too. In fact everything at Monoprix is rather spesh. The closest thing I've found to a French florist here, is the Northside Flower Market at Stafford. They always have a gorgeous wedding on the go and you see the busy florists working on them as you walk in. Then they have the most amazing cold room that you wander in to, and where you can choose from hundreds of varieties of flowers and greenery, both as readymade bouquets and single floral bunches. I bought three bunches of white roses there last Friday and they're still spectacular a week later. Adore! And yes, I shall say Hi at the Craft fair :)
