This chair's been empty for a duration.
The day job is in its way.
No frippery of late.
But, the workings of a whole lot of proficiencies
through a wad a workers' paperwork.
Meeting deadlines.
Thankfully, I still found enough time to begin
to fashion the annual Flora festive wreath.
I'll teach anyone who'll listen:
It's basically free, people.
Something out of nothing.
And, if you've been paying attention, you'll remember
my Andy Goldsworthy inspired effort last year:
This is how it looked until I came home one afternoon
and found it, scattered all over the yard.
Just like Andy says,
Ideas must be put to the test.
That's why we make things, otherwise they would be no more than ideas.
There is often a huge difference between an idea and its realisation.
I've had what I thought were great ideas that just didn't work.

Anyway.
This year's method is a little less ephemeral.
Make a ring out of vines and a little soft wire.
Go against Andy's word and use hot-glue.
He won't find out.
He won't find out.
Carefully attach any Christmas decorations you can spare.
Get out last year's garland and begin to value-add.
Use the SCAMPER strategy:
Substitute
Combine
Adapt
Modify
Put
Eliminate
Reduce,
if you can't think straight.
If you are not superstitious about dried flowers.
Parch a few buds, the weather's perfect at the moment.
They'll be reduced to a crisp in a day or two.
Begin to zhu-zhu.
Hang it somewhere safe.
Thank youFilipa!
