The Free Flora and Fauna Festive Wreath

Here's the making of a red-gum bark Christmas wreath.

Remember the collection of native bird feathers the Dog of the Year has collected?
Well here it is, festively wrapped into a wreath made of red-gum bark.
It's free, people.
Unlike everything else, it's not costing $128 every time you go to the checkout.
Get on board. A nice craft to do with the littlies.
Make one in the New Year for next year.
Just mind that glue gun.

How's your Christmas catering going?
I started today: mini muffins (two varieties) and chicken pies with flaky pastry.
Tackling a Yuletide log later on the weekend.
And tiramisu.
And small tomato and beef pies. Canape type stuff.
It's unbelievable isn't it?
I want you to look at these cupcakes and let me know if
you become as obsessed with them as I am.
They are from Miss Rosie, through Taste Kitchen and Catering, here in Brisbane.
Aren't they outstanding?
Valentino would love them.
Remember, keep breaking down the chores, bit by bit.
